Join us for The Art of Life, a bi-weekly event, celebrating the visual arts, poetry & spoken word, music, design & crafts and much more! The summer series of Art of Life kicks off with the work of Don Patron, a beloved DC based artist, and features the sounds of DJ Keith Hoffman!

And, in keeping with the spirit and message of Don's Homeless series, Rachel Panay will be serenading us with a song or two. (http://www.rachelpanay.com/jazz)

We will also be joined by Founder and Director of Sasha Bruce Youthwork, Deborah Shore, who founded the organization in 1977 to provide a safe haven for at-risk teens and now services 18 professionally staffed programs throughout the city.

The evening promises to be a moving and important event connecting us to each other, artist and their work in the community and organizations geared toward serving those in need within the community.
