The other has a gift for sourcing the “best of the best” each season andhas one of the most popular catalogs and online shoe boutiques in the country. And both of these small business entrepreneurs will join forces on May 6, 2009, from 4-7 p.m. when New York City shoe designer, Bettye Muller, former competitive ice-skater and soap opera actress turned shoe designer with a cult following, showcases her Fall 2009 designs at Kassie Rempel’s Columbia Heights boutique, SimplySoles.

Shoppers will be able to pre-order from the “trunk”
of shoes as well as shop SimplySoles’ current exclusive inventory from the designer including
cork wedges, espadrilles and pumps. Attendees will enjoy cocktails, hear about upcoming trends and
meet the designer at the new eco-friendly boutique which opened in late 2008.
