Join other young singles and couples for a fun evening of cocktails and dancing to help children in need.

A wonderful event for young professionals, the Junior Gala will benefit renovations at Thea Bowman House, SOME's transitional housing program for formerly homeless and poor families with children.

Since the first SOMEjrGala in 2004, local young professionals have raised over $250,000 for the organization. Proceeds from the jrGala have been used to build playgrounds at SOME’s family housing centers, Independence Place and the Zagami House, and to start SOME Place for Kids, an after-school program for children. The SOMEjrGala has provided children with a safe and productive place to learn, eat, and play.
