Did you know that 62% of D.C. residents fall into the two lowest levels of reading proficiency?

This means many of your neighbors cannot read instructions on a medicine bottle, cannot write a check, cannot read their mail, and cannot help their children in school.

While that number feels overwhelming, there is a way to help. Join us for a Happy Hour where the cover will go to the important programming at the Washington Literacy Council, a small nonprofit with a huge mission of raising the literacy level of adults and children in the nation’s capital.
