In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and in celebration of DC Fashion Week, GIORGIO GUCCI, Founder of the Giorgio G. fashion line and descendant of the famous Gucci dynasty will serve as our celebrity host for the BEING FABULOUS ROCKS! Childhood Cancer – An Evening of Italian Elegance with GIORGIO GUCCI, a charitable cocktail reception and fashion showcase sponsored by DC’s MOST FABULOUS Magazine & Emperor’s Brand. President of Emperor’s Brand, ZINA MASHIN, is responsible for bringing Mr. Gucci to the US and working with him on importing his exclusive line of cognacs. A portion of the proceeds from this evening’s event will benefit local charities/organizations whose focus is to eradicate childhood cancer.

This evening of Italian elegance will consist of a meet and greet with Mr. GUCCI, an opportunity to learn in dept knowledge of the Giorgio G’s products, open bar with Ultra premium Emperor’s Brand vodkas, silent auction, scrumptious heavily passed hors d’oevers, great music and an art and fashion showcase.

In addition to “BEING FABULOUS ROCKS!” Childhood Cancer Charity Gala celebrity host Giorgio Gucci, also in attendance will be trailblazers in the area of cancer research, awareness & advocacy. This FABULOUS event will also bring together a tastemaker crowd of celebrities, fashionistas, artists, athletes and key political, philanthropic and social figures.

This is Giorgio Gucci’s first visit to Washington, DC where he will attend a private forum on Capitol Hill to advocate issues surrounding intellectual property in the fashion industry and its effects on our nation’s economy on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 4-6 at the Rayburn Senate Building Foyer. Giorgio Gucci will speak out against the Black Market and Counterfeit Goods. Doing his visit to Washington, DC he has graciously agreed to serve as celebrity host, lending his name and celebrity to this event benefiting a phenomenal organization making a difference at the local, national and international level.
