However, the Washington DC Water For People Committee will still celebrate World Water Day at Ulah Bistro on Wednesday, March 24th.

The Water For People Washington, DC Committee is pleased to partner with the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda to host an evening reception on Friday, March 19, 2010 in recognition of World Water Day. This special event will promote culture and tourism in Uganda, as well as support the efforts of Water For People's water, sanitation, and hygiene education in rural Uganda. The reception will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and feature several guest speakers including Ambassador Perezi Kamunanwire.

Come experience local entertainment and food, while learning about the culture of Uganda, and at the same time discover the wonderful work that Water For People is doing there. We will also be having a lively silent auction with exciting travel packages to Africa, local weekend getaways here in D.C., artwork, etc.
