Kollaboration started 10 years ago as a vehicle to represent the underestimated and unfairly portrayed Asian Pacific Islanders in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. Through unity and creativity, Paul “PK” Kim created this outlet and the spread of this movement in order to showcase and create alternate routes for those Asian Americans who have the talent, the passion, and dreams. Over the decade, the Kollaboration movement has reached 10 cities including, New York, Chicago, Tulsa, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Toronto, Missouri (Columbia), Atlanta, Houston, and Seattle happening this October. It is the goal of Kollaboration to continue this wave of “empowerment through entertainment” and begin the annual tradition of entertaining to empower more Asian Pacific Islanders to come out and compete.

Kollaboration is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the promotion of a strong Asian Pacific Islander presence in entertainment and media industry.
