The mission of DCHSCCI is to bring awareness to the large number of infant deaths each year, from preventable causes, in the District of Columbia before one year of life.
The proceeds of this event will benefit DCHSCCI's "Hope Chest;" a program that assists disadvantaged mothers in Healthy Start Programs in the District of Columbia to provide infant clothing, food and other items.
