Bistrot Lepic & Wine Bar will partner with DC-based jewelry designer Sylvia Gottwald to showcase her collection of wearable art that incorporates pearls and shells from the Pacific Ocean. Twenty pieces will be on display in the 45-seat dining room of the neighborhood French bistro from March 12 through April 16, 2010. Prices for Gottwald’s collection range from $100 to $1,000 a piece. Jewelry by Gottwald has been worn by celebrity clientele including Zandra Rhodes, Debra Lee, Jesse Jackson and Eva Bohnet, wife of current president of Germany.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet the famed designer during a public viewing on Saturday, March 13th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. where guests can enjoy complimentary French wines and passed hors d'oeuvres.
