This September the Metro Music Source, DC’s monthly music industry networking event, will be hosting a special live music showcase featuring up and coming artists in the DC area. Music creators and industry professionals can network from 6pm, and then enjoy live music at 8pm from folk-rock singer-songwriter Brian Franke, rockers The Logan Kraft Band and Stella Mira.

There will be special happy hour drinks running until 9pm and free food (while available) courtesy of MMS sponsor Mark Jolkovski from Working Through.

The Metro Music Source was founded nearly a year ago by co-hosts Dave Mallen (Owner/Producer of Innovation Station Music) and Jem Bahaijoub (Owner of imaginePR) as a focal point for the thriving and diverse DC area music scene, offering music creators and industry professionals the opportunity to socialize, share knowledge, and collaborate, while also helping to raise the profile of DC music on a national level.  In past months, MMS events have brought together local musicians, major and indie label executives, artist managers and marketing reps, record store managers, publicists, filmmakers, music publishers, producer/engineers, and more.
