On September 10th from 6-11PM, MidCity boutiques are celebrating Fashion's Night Out indie style with special events, DJ's live bands and more.  Boutique owners have come together to throw fashion oriented events in DC's cutting edge shopping district along the 14th and U Street corridors. The event is organized by a group of MidCity boutiques with support from the MidCity Business Association.

On MidCity's Fashion Night Out, customers can enjoy a cat walk party with music and drinks at U Street's Lettie Gooch and a special appearance from "Muse" Anji Corley - On-Air Radio Personality of WPGC (1517 U Street). Across the street at Caramel (1603 U Street), check out the season's latest styles and enjoy the work of MidCity Artist Dave Peterson (www.branddave.com). Down the way at DC Stem (1412 U Street), check out sleek and earthy styles from Thailand plus snacks and wine.

Also get a chance to win free dinners at both DC Noodles and Rice, eateries famed for their unique design and creative Thai food. Over on 14th Street, Rue 14 (1803 14th St)  hosts free styling with Victor Price, image consultant of V'Mage Concept. Plus there will be Make-up artists on site and an appearance by DC band U.S. Royalty. At Redeem (1734 14th St) enjoy a Fall Preview event featuring the opening of "The Red Thread"...mixed media paintings by DC artist Shawn Helton, and an evening trunk show with local jewelry designer Couture Saboteur. Habitat (1510 U Street) features some new handbag and messenger bag lines and free sunglasses with purchases of $100 or more. Universal Gear (1529 14^th St) will feature a denim sale with brands like Diesel, G-Star, Rock & Republic and more.  Stop by Palace 5ive (2218 14^th St) for sushi and beer and latest fall fashions from Huf, The Hundreds, Durkl, Vans, & Nike S.
