We're most excited to invite all of you to our blow our inaugural benefit fundraiser this August: “The Platinum Health Benefit: Introducing The Gbomai Bestman Foundation"!

This endeavor, aligned to financially support our core projects for women and children subject to maternal and infant mortality in Liberia, West Africa, will bring together some of the most esteemed individuals in the Maryland, Virginia, and DC metropolitan ar...ea for a cause-filled day.

--EVENT--
It will kick off with a doubles exhibition tennis match in the afternoon from, followed by fine dining at The Manor Country Club, and end with a celebratory after party in the nation’s capitol at Tuscana West; see logistics below:

1. Tennis Match 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
2. Dinner 7:00 pm -11:00 pm ~VIP Cocktail Reception for sponsorship level guests & Cocktail Reception for individual ticket guests 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm; Silent Auction also~
3. After Party 11:30 pm - 2:00 am

We will feature one of Washington’s most exquisite high fashion designers. Russian designer, TYSYNDMA KROUJILOV, will showcase her most recent collection from self entitled line, Tysndyma, during the fine dining portion of our event.

We are honored to have Mutombo as keynote as he has accomplished our ultimate goal of building a state of the art hospital in post-war Liberia. Mutombo built The Biamba Marie Mutombo Hospital in his native Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The Gbomai Bestman Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to one of the most vital causes to human kind - maternal and infant mortality. Specifically, we are dedicated to improving the health and well being of mothers and children through pre and postnatal care, family planning, and health education to reduce maternal and infant mortality rate in West Africa, Liberia. As the health of mothers around the world is pivotal in solving our other issues, it is important that our local, national, and global communities avert their focus to women.

This past February, Gbomai and a member of the GBF Team proved just how important these projects could be in improving maternal health. They traveled to Liberia to kick off our Maternal Care Package core project and adopted our first neonatal ward at the Liberian Government Hospital, in which we funded a much-needed renovation. Recent updates from the hospital couldn’t have been better as more expecting mothers are returning to the hospital in their early pregnancy stages for monitoring after hearing about the packages many of their friends received. With the funds raised at this launch, mothers, children, and the clinics that do their best to serve them, will be the direct benefactors as more packages and sponsorships are set up.
