THE DETAILS:
Pairing wine and food can seem like a puzzle ... but it doesn't have to be! Join TasteDC's Charlie Adler as he takes us on a guided tour of some of Tradewinds best Spanish imports, and shares his views and vast knowledge of wine. According the Charlie, the core to learning about wine is to “taste, then taste, then taste again” – and that is exactly what we plan to do!

At this event you will have the opportunity to:
- Mingle with other young professionals in one of DC’s hottest wine bars, located in the U Street corridor
- Sample a variety of Spanish wines provided by Tradewinds Specialty Imports
- Enjoy your wine along with various cheese and charcuterie platters provided by Vinoteca
- Get some of Charlie's straightforward ... and fun! ... advice on wine and food pairing
- And after the event, be sure to stay and check out Vinoteca’s new backyard bocce court and patio, which DCist describes as “open-air Old World villa”

In addition to leading us through a tasting, Charlie will also have his highly entertaining new book on hand so you can get your autographed copy (at a discounted price of $15). Charlie has also kindly offered to donate $5 of each book sold to the American Heart Association…just one more good reason to buy a book that proclaims, “a meal without wine is breakfast!”
