Submitted by Jamie on June 23, 2009 - 8:52pmThe Metropolitan Youth Tap Ensemble MYTE proudly presents SOMETHING TO DANCE ABOUT,a Tap and Jazz benefit concert for Haiti Relief at the Warehouse Theater in DC.
All proceeds will go to The American Red Cross for the victims of the earth quakes in Haiti.
MYTE is also pleased to present to the DC audience Tap performer Mr. Jason Janas, who is recognized for his show stopping tap performances and award winning choreography. Also featured in the show is the jazz dance ensemble iMpulse and dancers from c.f.p.a. Dance Ensemble.
The high energy and sensational MYTE will perform pieces from their repertory and premier 'Smooth Criminal',choreographed by Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, New York City, music by Michael Jackson.
The Warehouse Theater provides the perfect avant garde, edgy venue for this cast of dancers.
These amazing tap and jazz dancers are a thrill to watch, and everyone in the family will enjoy this benefit concert!
