Who says money can’t buy you love?

Washington’s brightest beauties and bucks will strut their stuff on the auction block in the Third Annual Charity Date Auction to benefit Pediatric AIDS.

Altogether, eighteen of Washington’s young professionals will volunteer their time and efforts with this event to raise money for Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care, Inc. by taking their winning bidder out to enjoy a phenomenal pre-planned date event package. The live event will feature ten well connected and affluent professional Washingtonians who will be introduced to the crowd by professional auctioneer Lia Kvatum. Guests will bid at silent auction tables for eight other young and distinguished Washingtonians in a continuation of the silent bidding process for their date events, already underway alongside advance ticket sales on the website www.CharityDateAuction.com

Local Zagat rated restaurants, exclusive nightclubs, and reknowned museums and recreational centers, including Smith & Wollensky, Jaleo, Mie N Yu, Poste Modern Brasserie, Peacock Café, Washington Ballet, National Symphony Orchestra, and Net Results Tennis Service, have all donated to date packages that winners of date events will enjoy.

Happily coupled Washingtonians are invited to participate in raising charitable funds by bidding on a lavish array of silent auction items. A few of the silent auction items include a pair of tickets to the 2010 BET Awards show at L.A.'s famed Shrine Auditorium, with local car service to and from an L.A. origin point; donations from Chef José Andrés at two of his critically acclaimed restaurants, Zaytinya and Oyamel (valued at $300 and $250, respectively: 4-Person Tasting Menus with manager selection of two wines); and a two night stay at any Kimpton Hotel in the US. Regardless of dating status, every winning bidder takes home a prize!
