Are you on Twitter? Everyone and their grandmother's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate has joined the social networking service...and now you can meet face to face the people you stalk! Tweeters from all over the Metro area will be meeting at Shadow Room for the 2010 Washington DC Twestival.

From 6 to 7pm, there will be an open bar from Charmin Reserve Rum and passed hors d'oeuvres for all guests, while the rest of the night will boast fun drinks, special giveaway prizes and plenty of opportunity to network with DC's hottest social media circle!

Metromix and WUSA*9 will be covering the event and documenting all the fun. The Twestival will also be streamed live across the globe through their Ustream channel.

Proceeds from the Twestival will benefit Concern, a humanitarian organization dedicated to reducing suffering and ending extreme poverty, including much needed education for children.
