Woo at the Zoo, a fun, frisky Valentine-themed event, is a light-hearted exploration into the sexual behaviors of animals.

Hosted by the Zoo’s most charismatic animal experts, Woo at the Zoo presents an opportunity to learn about animal mating, dating and reproductive habits in an honest and humorous forum.

The event includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres, a cupcake you can decorate, a long-stemmed rose courtesy of Whole Foods Market, and a cash bar offering a specialty drink—a “My Tai”— in a commemorative glass.

All the fun takes place in the Zoo’s Visitor Center auditorium. Woo at the Zoo is for adults ages 21 and older (a valid ID is required for admission).

Choose from two presentation time slots: 6:30–7:30 p.m. or 8:30–9:30 p.m. Each ticket is valid for a time-specified show. Guests are encouraged to come early before the presentation begins, or stay after to enjoy our cash bar and Valentine festivities.

Tickets are $7 for FONZ members, $10 for nonmembers and may be purchased at any National Zoo gift shop between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., on the Zoo’s website at http://nationalzoostore.tamretail.net/Events.aspx, or by calling the Zoo’s ticket line at (202) 633-0151.

Parking for the event is free.
