Black Market Bistro in the Garrett Park neighborhood of Maryland will celebrate its 10 year anniversary on September 24, 2014. To honor the milestone, the restaurant will serve a throwback menu featuring some of the most popular dishes served since the restaurant's opening in 2004. Guests will have varied choices from a three-course menu featuring fall-inspired soups like butternut squash and tomato lemongrass, fried calamari, pan-seared rainbow trout and grilled strip steak. Classic desserts like panna cotta, chocolate fudge cake and a fruit tart round out the evening. Members of the opening team from 2004 – chefs and managers included – will be in attendance. The full menu, below, is available for $55 with an optional $20 wine pairing. Reservations will be accepted for the evening, and can be made by calling (301)933-3000 – both the prix fixe and a la carte menus will be available. Guests will part with goodie bags, which will include a few sweet bites and gifts (complimentary menu items) for future visits to the restaurants.
