Hosted by Glamazon Diaries' Makeda Saggau-Sackey, the evening will celebrate the accomplishments of Shea Yeleen, a sustainable beauty brand, and YALI (the Young African Leaders Initiative).

Enjoy hand reflexology treatments, beauty tips from The Beauty Kitchen Day Spa, and sample Shea Yeleen products. Plus light bites, cocktails and raffle prizes from socially conscious companies and local DC businesses!

Recently featured in the Washingtonian magazine, Shea Yeleen supports hundreds of Ghanaian women each year, who assist in the production of its shea butter products. Providing fair wages allow shea producers to pay for everyday necessities their children need such as education, clothing and food.

Each year, the Young African Leaders exchange program brings more than 500 young leaders to the U.S. for leadership training, academic coursework and mentoring.

We can't think of a better way to celebrate--creating opportunities in Africa by fueling industries that propel economic growth and prosperity--than by bringing together our supporters for a night of conversation, cocktails and fun!
