Hillyer Art Space presents solo exhibitions featuring new work by artists Novie Trump and Susan Grace, and a group exhibition with Artists of Sol Print Studio curated by Sarah Tanguy.

Novie Trump’s Longing for Distant Skies combines porcelain and other materials to create an installation inspired by the sky and exploration. Sarah Tanguy curates Under the Sun, a group exhibition featuring 14 artists of Baltimore’s Sol Print Studio, presenting an engrossing range of prints from landscape to text-based and figurative to abstract work, while revealing the rich technical potential in solar plate etching and non-toxic printmaking. Susan Grace will present Lay of the Land, her new body of paintings influenced by the mountains of West Virginia.

Guests can meet the artists at the reception on Friday, September 4th from 6-9pm, during Dupont Circle’s First Friday Gallery Walk.
