Pair-ings focuses on the chemistry between works of art. A chemistry that is inherent on sight. Here it is an exploration of art-based synergy. Individual works - in this case, paintings from both new and earlier series - when combined, attempt to highlight new elements in each other, expand on each other's narrative, or excite the senses by an artful pairing of opposites.
