This Halloween, GregsListDC got a special treat: Use of a shiny new 2013 Chevy Cruze ECO, compliments of the GM Northeast team. Talk about perfect timing—with over 20 spooktacular events on our jampacked GregsListDC calendar, we didn’t have a ghost of chance hitting all of them without it!

On Thursday evening, we loaded up our costumed companions in the Chevy Cruze’s uber-spacious interior and cruised by the Thirst DC Smithsonian Spooktacular. Getting there was easy, with turn-by-turn navigation available through OnStar. At the event, we mixed and mingled with sexy science nerds while the DJ spun otherworldly tunes. Friday night, the Cruze’s turbocharged engine powered us over to BYT’s The Temple of Doom and the Lost Crystal Skull Crusade party. We must admit—Hypnotist Matt Davis looked a wee bit jealous when the Cruze’s silver ice metallic finish entranced everyone! On Saturday night, the Cruze whisked us to Fado’s Irish Pub and Restaurant where we danced the night away with 80s cover band, Weird Science. The Cruze’s crystal clear SirusXM 80s Pop Hits radio channel kept us rocking even after we left the party. The next few days brought the wrath of Hurricane Sandy, but with its 10 standard airbags, StabiliTrak® Electronic Stability Control System with Traction Control, and tripled-sealed laminated windshield, our Chevy Cruze weathered the storm just fine!

Wednesday brought All Hallow’s Eve, and the Cruze was ready to be part of the action! We loaded up its massive trunk with tons of Halloween goodies and hit the streets, encountering GregsListDC and Chevy Cruze fans along the way. At each stop, fans could spin the GregsListDC prize wheel to win Chevy water bottles, GregsListDC T-shirts, and (of course) Halloween candy. While out, the Cruze had a ghoulish encounter with the cast of George Washington University’s production of Sweeney Todd. Even the demon barber of Fleet Street was rendered speechless when he learned about the Cruze’s 42 miles per gallon highway mileage! The fun wrapped up on Thursday, when we cruised by the High Heels Race in Dupont Circle where several racing drag queens stopped dead in their tracks to ogle the Cruze’s sexy aerodynamic curves.

Thanks, GM Northeast, for tricking out our Halloween!
