The Davis Performing Arts Center
Synopsis
Dai, a farmer’s boy, leaves his fiancé and family behind to become a soldier, and returns home with devastating injuries that have extraordinary consequences. He is unprepared for the world as he finds it, for the secrets, temptations, and changes awaiting his arrival. Set in rural Wales, The Pull of Negative Gravity is a haunting and lyrical examination of one family’s strength and destruction in the aftermath of the war in Iraq.
Join us for a production that The Guardian called “a harrowing, heartbreaking play”
