The Alliance Française de Washington & The Dupont Circle Hotel present "Beyond The Little Black Dress", a fashion show pairing local and international designers and artists.
This fashion show is a fundraiser benefiting the AFDC’s cultural programs.
There will be a silent auction with designers’ pieces.
VIP Reception: 7PM
Runway: 7:45PM
Dress Code: Cocktail attire.
Emerging female French and American couture designers, fashion photographer, stylists and beauty and fashion entrepreneurs will take this male-dominated industry by storm in order to showcase modern couture trends.

Designers include: Isabelle Tausch, of Isagus Extroversions (www.isagus-extroversions.com) formerly of Washington, D.C. now based in Kiev, Ukraine; Christelle Cenatiempo of Titelle Couture, based in Los Angeles, CA (www.titelle.com); fashion and art expert Larissa Noury of LariNoury (www.larinoury.fr) based in Paris, France; Gohar Beaver, of ABCouture (www.abcouture.com) based in Charlottesville, VA; and lingerie boutique owner, Stephanie Jacek, of Le Bustiere Boutique (www.lebustiere.com), based in Washington. D.C.
Fashion and Beauty Entrepreneur, Samira Atash, also a fashion designer and founder of FLOW Blow Dry & Beauty Bar (https://flowblowdrybar.com), is the exclusive hair and make-up sponsor for the event. Ms. Atash won “Best Blowout in Northern VA” in Northern VA Magazine three years in a row, “Best New Business” and “Best of Reston” in Washingtonian Magazine.
Photo Stylist, Hélène Meister of Helene France (www.helenefrance.com ) was in charge of casting the 25 models, - including many Miss United States-, who will walk the runway and is the back-stage and line-up producer.
The event will be emceed by Rosana Vollmerhausen, of DCStyleFactory (www.dcstylefactory.com ), a leading fashion and style entrepreneur in DC..
These internationally recognized and talented female designers, artists and entrepreneurs come together to help the Alliance Française de Washington, DC in its fundraising campaign for Cultural Events, increase awareness of local designers and brands and showcase some of the region’s developing talent in fashion.
