Please join us in celebrating the sounds of music in the elegant grandeur of the Willard hotel’s famous grand lobby.
The Willard InterContinental holds its 14th annual free live music program which has evolved into one of Washington’s most comprehensive with a wide array of highly accomplished choral and vocal ensembles from around the DC Metropolitan area.
Performances take place nightly from December 1 through 23 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
December 1 – The Washington Chorus: Grammy Award winning choral ensemble currently in its 55th season.
December 2 – West Potomac Chamber Singers
December 3 -- Potomac Harmony Chorus: Award-winning barbershop style ensemble
December 4 – Pro Coro – Alexandria Choral Society: A chamber choir of singers selected from the Alexandria Choral Society.
December 5 – Georgetown Visitation Chorus: Georgetown Visitation Preparatory school’s chorus performs traditional choral pieces.
December 6 – West Potomac Bella Voce Singers
December 7 – Cantigas: Washington's Premier Latino Chorus whose repertoire includes choral music of Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
December 8 – Capital Accord: A woman’s four-part a cappella chorus from Silver Spring, Maryland.
December 9 – Carmina Illuminare: Chamber choir devoted to the diverse musical styles of the Middles Ages through the Baroque.
December 10 – Washington International Chorus: The chorus features traditional and contemporary choral literature, including familiar and lesser-knowncompositions, new works, and arrangements of folk or indigenous tunes.
December 11 – Princeton Area Homeschool Choir: Children’s choral ensemble performing both sacred and secular music.
December 12 – Encore: Choral singers of sacred and secular music
December 13 – Sound Advice: The female Barbershop Quartet of the Vienna Falls Chorus
December 14 – Thomas Circle Singers: Chamber Choral Ensemble offering Washington residents choral classics and new works by living composers
December 15 – Arlington Children’s Chorus: Young artist ensemble which has performed with the National Symphony Orchestra and at Wolf Trap.
December 16 – Voce: Diverse programming from early chant to newly-commissioned works.
December 17 – Congressional Chorus & American Youth Chorus
December 18 – The City Singers: Outreach ensemble of the City Choir of Washington.
December 19 – Capitol Harmonia: A community women’s chorus dedicated to singing music written for women’s voices to support and promote the concerns of women.
December 20 – Heritage Signature Choral: African American choral ensemble celebrating 15 years of music that lifts the spirit and liberates the soul.
December 21 – Vox Pulchra: Early music ensemble.
December 22 – Children’s Chorus of Washington: Children’s chorus in its 18th season.
December 23 – Philomela: Women's chamber consort performing primarily Renaissance music.
