Let’s face it, living in the Nation’s Capital is pretty fabulous, but with demanding work schedules, crazy traffic, and crowded (un-air conditioned, tourist filled, single tracking) subways, life in the District does have its fair share of stresses. And when our tired, stressed out selves are in desperate need of a massage, the last thing we all want to deal with is even MORE stress with booking a massage appointment! Enter Soothe, the new massage-on-demand service and app (available on IOS or Android) that recently launched in major cities across the U.S.,  including Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, San Francisco, Seattle, and is now here in DC!

Founded by tech entrepreneur, Merlin Kauffman, who started Soothe after becoming disenchanted with the limited operating hours of traditional day spas and advance-notice booking requirements (we concur!), Soothe allows clients to book a same-day appointment with a licensed certified massage therapist in the privacy of their own home, office or hotel room, with as little as 60 minutes advance notice! Massage appointments are offered between the hours of 9am-midnight every day of the week, including holidays (speaking of stress). Soothe’s services include Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Couples massage in treatment lengths of 60-90-120 minutes for a fixed fee that includes gratuity and taxes.

Clients can book appointments 24 hours/seven days a week via the app and website, or during business hours by calling the Soothe toll-free number (800-960-7668). And to help our readers get started on find their zen, Soothe is kindly offering $30 off first massages when booking using coupon code “GLDC30.”  Ahh-mazing!
